About Berit
Pacific Northwest jewelry artist, Berit Bardarson, is fascinated with the relationships of pattern, shape and colors in nature.
Her jewelry is handcrafted using silver, gold, semi-precious stones and pearls. This involves, variously, hammering, soldering, engraving, fold-forming, riveting, fusing, texturing and etching.
Berit has a BFA in graphic design from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She co-founded of Beta Press, a fine art print studio in Seattle, where she worked with artists such as Fay Jones, Jacob Lawrence, Michael Gregory, Tom Lieberman and Gregory Grenon on etching projects.
